Merchiko is an online streetwear brand operating through our Shopify store at merchiko.com. We are based in India. When you place an order with us, you're sharing certain personal information with us, and this policy explains exactly what we do with it.

Payment information: We do not collect or store your card details, UPI ID, or any payment credentials. Payments are processed entirely by Shopify's payment infrastructure and your chosen payment method. We only receive a confirmation of whether the transaction was successful.

Order information: Once you place an order, we have a record of what you bought, your order value, and your delivery details. This is necessary for us to fulfill your order and handle any post-sale queries.

 

 

03 — Why we collect it

We collect your information for the following purposes:

  • To process your order and arrange delivery to you

  • To contact you about your order — confirmation, dispatch, delivery updates

  • To handle return or replacement requests under our returns policy

  • To respond to questions or support requests you send us

  • To send you marketing emails or updates, only if you have opted in

We only share your data with the following parties, and only to the extent needed to run our business:

Shopify Our store is built on Shopify. Shopify processes and stores all data entered on our website, including your order details and contact information. Shopify operates under its own privacy policy, which you can view at shopify.com/legal/privacy. When you shop at merchiko.com, Shopify's infrastructure is handling your data on our behalf.

Qikink Qikink is our print-on-demand and order fulfillment partner. When you place an order, we share your name, delivery address, and phone number with Qikink so they can print and ship your product. Qikink may in turn share your delivery details with the courier partner assigned to your shipment. We share only what is necessary for your order to be fulfilled — nothing more.

Courier and delivery partners Your name, delivery address, and phone number are passed to the courier responsible for your delivery. This is handled through Qikink's logistics network.

Payment processors Transaction data is handled by Shopify's payment gateway or whichever payment method you choose at checkout. We do not receive your full payment credentials at any point.

Analytics tools We may use basic analytics (such as Shopify's built-in analytics) to understand store traffic and performance. This data is anonymised and aggregated — we cannot identify individual users from it.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

 

 

05 — Cookies and tracking

Our store uses cookies — small files stored on your device — to make the website function correctly and to help us understand how it is being used. Cookies are used for:
